CityArtist Project Funding Available Individual artists and the creative process are the heart of an arts community. Every year, the CityArtist Projects program provides funding to develop and present original work by Seattle artists, with different disciplines in alternating years. Funds may support new works, works-in-progress, or finished works, and all projects must include a public presentation. Funding awards range up to $10,000. The deadline is March 17th. Talk Time at the Mondays: March 3, 10 and 31( Tuesdays: March 4, 11 and 25 ( Come to a free English as a Second Language
(ESL) conversation group to practice speaking English. This program is for
beginning to advanced level learners. Participants will be admitted on a first-come,
first-served basis. Library events and programs are free and everyone is
welcome. Registration is not required. Evening Book Group Tuesday: March 11 ( Join us for a book group at the Fremont Branch
Library. Everyone is welcome. This month’s title is "The Amazing
Adventures of Kavalier and Clay" by Michael Chabon. Set in the years before, during, and after
World War II, two cousins try to succeed as creators of comic books. Next Month's Title "The Beautiful
Things That Heaven Bears" by Dinaw Mengetsu Registration is not required. Pick up your
copy of this month's book at this library location. Four Poets at the Saturday: March 15th

readings by four award-winning poets: Madeline DeFrees, Eric McHenry, John
