Multifamily Code Update Public Open House

DPD has been working with the Seattle Planning Commission, the community, and design and development professionals to update the Multifamily Code. The public is invited to provide input on the draft code recommendations. Draft code and other documents is available on DPD’s Multifamily website:www.seattle.gov/dpd/planning/multifamily_code_update/ .
The goals of the Multifamily Code update are to:
v Help create high-quality multifamily neighborhoods
through development flexibility.
v
Encourage new investment in a variety of housing
types, including affordable housing.
v Support environmental objectives. v Make the code easier to use and understand.
