Investing in Seattle’s Transportation Infrastructure
Let’s Keep Seattle Moving

Mayor Nickels, Councilmember Jan Drago and the Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) are hosting city-wide open house to discuss Seattle
s transportation system. Seattle s transportation system is a public asset that benefits all of us.

Over the last decade, funding dedicated to transportation has declined significantly. In many cases, due to limited resources SDOT has had to defer needed transportation repairs and improvement projects. As a result, we are falling dangerously behind in maintaining our city streets, bridges and other critical pieces transportation infrastructure.

Seattle is at a critical juncture. We cannot continue to build a first rate city on a second rate transportation system.

The state of Seattle s transportation system impacts everyone. Please attend the open house to learn more about the state of Seattle’ s Transportation system, the need to repair our aging infrastructure; share your ideas, and tell us your transportation priorities on

Tuesday, April 4
Ballard High School
1418 NW 65th St

Open house is from 6:30 to 8:30 PM, doors open at 6:00 PM. Formal presentation starts at 7:00 PM.  Refreshments will be provided. Meeting room is ADA accessible. For interpretation services call (206) 684-8297. RSVP: Call (206) 684-ROAD
