Changes are coming to the marked crosswalks on Stone Way North

Open House

October 10th, 2006

5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

University House at Wallingford

Olympic Auditorium at Lobby  Level

What changes are being proposed?

SDOT is proposing a 'road diet' or reduction in the number of motor vehicle lanes on Stone Way North between

N 34th Street and North 50th Street to improve safety at marked crosswalks. If a road diet is not implemented, these marked crosswalks will be removed.

When?

Changes would occur in 2007 or 2008 depending on the scheduling of a planned repaving project on Stone Way North between N 34th St and N 45th St. The segment between N 45th St and N 50th St would be constructed by SDOT crews and would likely occur in 2007.

How can I submit my comments ?

Please submit comments online at: http://www.seattle.gov/transportation/cwp_comment.htm or leave a message at (206) 615-1608.
